From Blank Canvas to Curriculum-Rich Haven: The Full-Scale EYFS Transformation at Thorpe Hesley

Client

Thorpe Hesley Primary School

Location

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Project

Bespoke Two-Year-Old Provision (EYFS Landscape Development)

Overview

The core challenge was to transform a blank canvas into a high-quality, sensory-rich landscape for their brand-new two-year-old provision. They needed a space that didn’t just look beautiful but worked as a functional extension of the classroom. Working closely with Thorpe Hesley, we created an immersive, natural, and educationally rich vision for the new space: a landscape-led play environment that celebrates both creativity and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum learning.

“We are blown away by our recent two-year-old outdoor area by Precision Timber. From our first contact, they went above and beyond to make our dreams a reality. Their understanding of what an Early Years outdoor space needs to teach and develop is second to none. The materials are of the highest quality, and every detail has been designed with children in mind. Highly recommended – and the marketing support, including photos and drone footage, was exceptional!”
