Dynamic SEN Development: Transforming a Wasted Outdoor Space into an Enriching and Immersive SEN Area

Client

Thorpe Hesley Primary School

Location

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Project

Bespoke Special Educational Needs Area Development

Overview

Thorpe Hesley approached us for a second time, this time with the brief of transforming a wasted outdoor space into an enriching and immersive Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) area. For this project, we faced the challenge of having limited space to work with. But this didn’t stop us: we created an inclusive environment with a range of accessible equipment and play opportunities, giving children a space to explore and develop in their own way.

“We are absolutely thrilled with our new outdoor area that Precision Timber has made for us. It’s been a pleasure working with them from start to finish and they offer real value for money. We will absolutely use them again for any future projects and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of undergoing a project like this.”
