Dual-Zone Masterpiece: How Walkley Primary Combined High-Spec SEN Provisions with a Forest Retreat

Client

Walkley Primary School

Location

Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Project

Bespoke SEN Sensory Landscape & Robinia Forest School Zone

Overview

Walkley Primary School presented us with a dual-layered challenge: to transform two separate areas of their grounds into specialist environments. The first requirement was a high-functioning Special Educational Needs (SEN) zone designed for tactile discovery and physical development. The second was a tranquil “Forest Area” focused on social connection and outdoor learning. By utilising premium robinia timber and bespoke engineering, we delivered a comprehensive landscape that caters to every facet of the student experience – from sensory regulation to woodland adventure.
