Overview
Aldenham School envisioned a dedicated home for their Forest School activities – a place that would allow students to immerse themselves in nature without being at the mercy of the British weather. Nestled within their scenic “spinney,” they required a structure that was both a practical classroom and a secure storage hub. We designed a substantial, bespoke timber pavilion that provides a seamless transition between traditional indoor learning and the wild freedom of the forest. The result is a stunning, durable retreat that has become the heart of the school’s outdoor curriculum – a place where students can study the environment while being comfortably sheltered by it.
