Overview
Ewell Castle Prep School approached us with a vision for two meaningful outdoor spaces: a play area to support physical development, coordination, and core strength through adventurous outdoor activity, and a memorial reading garden to honour a much-love teacher and offering children a calm place for reading and reflection. First, we crafted a bespoke timber scramble stack to encourage active, open-ended play, with a strong focus on natural aesthetics and physical development. Second, we designed a natural reading garden with timber planters, natural seating, and an outdoor library to foster literacy, wellbeing, and connection.
