Overview
Holy Rood Primary School partnered with us to undertake two exciting projects aimed at improving their outdoor facilities: an outdoor reading classroom and their entrance widening. With our expertise in commercial playground equipment and outdoor play equipment, we were thrilled to bring their vision to life.
To enhance the school’s flow, we widened the entrance using and installed a double security gate, providing both safety and improved flow during busy periods. The second project focused on converting an underutilised prayer garden into a functional and inspiring outdoor play and learning space. Holy Rood wanted a bespoke solution to promote reading for pleasure and provide an inviting environment for literacy activities. Our design and installation included:

Open-air classrooms encourage outdoor learning and creativity, fostering group activities, socialising and teamwork. Thanks to year-round use, it can be used for learning, activities, or relaxation, helping children develop important skills while being immersed in nature, no matter the weather!
The staff and children were delighted with the finished projects. The newly enhanced entrance has transformed the flow of school runs, while the outdoor reading classroom has become a much-loved addition, encouraging literacy and collaborative play.
