Overview
After the success of our first bespoke shelter for Forestry England, the bespoke Butterfly Shelter, they asked us to return for a second. They asked for another accessible and multifunctional shelter, that blends in seamlessly with the surrounding environment. And we delivered: complete with a wheelchair-accessible ramp, various storage options, and plenty of seating availability, this shelter is perfect for outdoor learning, wellness activities, and rest and rejuvenation options, while also appearing timeless in the natural woodland.
Following our first project with Forestry England (the Butterfly Shelter at Haldon Forest), the Cannock Chase shelter demonstrates our ability to build strong partnerships, allowing us to return and deliver project after project. By combining craftsmanship with rigorous structural load analysis and certified safety metrics, we transform complex public briefs into durable, captivating architectural landmarks. We build commercial timber installations that honour the environment, stimulate communities, and endure for decades.
