Multi-Zoned EYFS Landscape Development
Overview
Birdwell Primary School approached us with an ambitious vision: to deconstruct their traditional, open-plan playground and replace it with a purposeful, curriculum-aligned landscape. The goal was to move away from a “one-size-fits-all” space and instead create a series of dedicated learning “rooms” that inspire curiosity and physical development. We worked hand-in-hand with the school to design a natural, flow-based environment where every square metre serves a specific developmental purpose.
“The transformation is simply breathtaking. Precision Timber didn’t just give us new equipment; they gave us a curriculum-rich environment where our children can thrive. The zoning allows for much calmer, more purposeful play, and the craftsmanship is second to none.”
The Birdwell Primary project is a testament to our “big picture” philosophy. We believe a playground should be more than just a collection of timber; it should be a map of a child’s potential. Schools trust us because we understand the nuances of the EYFS framework, ensuring that the quiet thinkers, the budding builders, and the high-energy explorers all have a space to grow. We take immense pride in the British craftsmanship that turns a flat playground into a multi-dimensional world of discovery, built to endure for generations to come.
